Fotografiska is an international meeting place where everything revolves around photography. The museum has an exhibition space of 2,500 square meters, and features 4 major exhibitions per year and approximately 15-20 minor exhibitions. Our exhibitions are among the city’s most popular attractions. In addition to visiting our exhibitions you can listen to concerts, eat, drink, take a photography course or even arrange an event or a conference in a creative environment.
With a great network of world-class photographers at the core, Fotografiska Stockholm has, since the opening 2010, hosted more than 170 exhibitions, including the work of iconic masters such as Annie Leibovitz, David LaChapelle, Irving Penn, Helmut Newton, Sarah Moon, Nick Brandt and Andres Serrano, as well as up-and-coming young photographers.
Fotografiska Stockholm is not only the world’s most esteemed museum dedicated to the world of photography. The concept also contains an internationally awarded restaurant elected “the Museum Restaurant of the Year 2017”. From the restaurant you have a fantastic view over Djurgården and Skeppsholmen.
In the popular gift shop you can find an extensive selection of photographic books, posters and souvenirs.
