With its purple colouring, this corridor conveys a sense of Sweden’s multicultural society, blending as it does a variety of different influences. The designer of the corridor was PETER HALLÉN an architect and member of the National Association of Swedish Architects who is also a well-known designer. Among other things, Peter holds a teaching position at Beckman’s School of Design in Stockholm and also works with company profiling and exhibition architecture. He is a keen interior designer and particularly enjoys working for restaurants. Peter likes to break with taboos and overstep established boundaries. He touches on the forbidden and tries to bring out and emphasise non-mainstream aspects, such as Sweden’s multicultural society.
PETER HALLÉN has an impressive list of projects to his name,and a large number of well-known companies have used his services for assignments in areas such as restaurant and shop design,graphic design,profiling, exhibitions and product design. These include Amfora Vinhus, IKEA, Blend Collection, PK-huset, Alcro, Swedish Match, SAS Trading and Vattenfall Sweden.
