The furniture is made of birch. The desk, the bed, the Gullheden bedside table and the Herrgården chair were all designed by Carl Malmsten in the 1950s. The bed was designed for maximum enjoyment.

CARL MALMSTEN AB is managed by Jerker Malmsten, grandson of the well- known Swedish designer, Carl Malmsten. After attending university and the Calle Flygare Drama School, JERK MALMSTEN decided to follow in his grandfather's footsteps.

Interior architect, LEÓ JÓHANNSSON , who was born in Reykjavik, Iceland, is also connected to the Carl Malmsten School and was involved in creating this room. He has also been involved in producing the new Carl Malmsten Reform concept, which includes the ’VM' armchair, which can be found in room 702.
